PHCS Employee Assistance Program Engages New Clients

Princeton HealthCare System's Employee Assistance Program (EAP)—which provides counseling for life challenges that may affect employees' job performance, health or personal well-being—recently engaged six new clients.

The clients include the New Jersey municipalities of Manville, Ewing and Robbinsville, Cooper Pest Solutions, Passaic County Technical Institute and The College of New Jersey. Employees of those entities now have access to the full array of services offered by EAP, which provides timely and professional aid in resolving personal, family and work-related problems for approximately 25,000 employees and their families.

The EAP's mission to provide exceptional, compassionate service through face-to-face diagnostic assessments, counseling and short-term therapy for clients' employees and their adult household members, including adult children who are away at college.

"Our EAP has been active since the mid-1980s, and the recent growth is unprecedented," said Richard Wohl, Senior Vice President, Princeton HealthCare System. "We have an outstanding staff and an established network of providers well prepared for the additional clients."

EAP services are provided by professionals at Princeton House Behavioral Health and an affiliate network of more than 250 credentialed EAP providers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
