Adult Medical Detoxification

When adults with chemical addictions are admitted to Princeton House Behavioral Health, they are usually first treated within our inpatient medical detoxification unit so they can be monitored and their medications adjusted as needed. This program provides short-term, intensive treatment for patients with substance abuse disorders.

Patients can be transferred seamlessly to University Medical Center of Princeton if acute medical care is needed. After completing detox, patients generally transition to an inpatient or outpatient continuing care program.
