Dr. Lisa Dobruskin
Dr. Dobruskin, Medical Director of the Center for Bariatric Surgery & Metabolic Medicine at UMCP, graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Biology and obtained her Medical Doctor degree from New York Medical College. She completed her Surgical Residency and Internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York.
Dr. Dobruskin conducted research at several universities and medical centers and published scientific articles on Gastric Sleeves, Gastric Bands, Robotic Surgery, Thoracoscopic Surgery and colorectal cancer.
In addition to performing Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass and Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding procedures, Dr. Dobruskin developed expertise in a new procedure, called the Gastric Sleeve.

Rameck Hunt, MD, FACP, Medical Director of the Weight Management Program, is board certified in internal medicine and specializes in obesity medicine. He is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association. Dr. Hunt is a graduate of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed his
residency at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Dr. Hunt is a recipient of the 2015 Healthcare Professional of the Year Award.

Donna Post BSN, RN-BC is the Metabolic and
Bariatric Clinical Coordinator at the Center for Bariatric Surgery & Metabolic Medicine. Ms. Post
is a highly skilled career professional with 20 years of nursing experience. Donna began her career as a surgical care
nurse, who specialized and is currently certified in the field of Pain
Management. Through her tenure here she
has had the opportunity to enrich her career by performing in the following
roles within the organization; a direct care nurse, procedural nurse, Nurse Manager
and Clinical Educator training as well as mentoring others in the nursing
profession. Donna has worked closely
with our Bariatric Team to develop clinical pathways, attain higher patient
care standards and act as a resource for staff, patients and families regarding
the treatment of obesity. Donna has
personal experience with the disease of obesity, and its treatments. She feels that both her professional and
personal experience allows her to connect with patients to help them with the
challenging journey of optimizing their health through weight management.
