"I find the field of bariatric surgery to be extremely exciting and rewarding," says Dr. Dobruskin. "I am always thrilled to see the amazing transformation that patients undergo in a relatively short period of time — not just the weight-loss, but the resolution of health problems, like diabetes and high blood pressure, which contribute to an amazing new quality of life after bariatric surgery."
"I believe that successful weight-loss after surgery can only be achieved with long-term care and follow-up," emphasizes Dr. Dobruskin. "When I operate on a patient, I consider that person my patient for life."
