The Breast Cancer Support Group meets the third Tuesday of the month.
The group invites breast cancer patients in all phases of their journeys to attend, along with their family members and/or caregivers. Share experiences and triumphs, solutions for coping with treatment side effects, effective communication with your healthcare team, and concerns about recurrence in a supportive and problem-solving environment.
This support group is co-facilitated by Lois Glasser, LCSW, Oncology Social Worker, CancerCare of New Jersey, and a Breast Health Navigator from UMCP's Breast Health Center.
University Medical Center of Princeton is accredited as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC) and a recipient of the CoC's Outstanding Achievement Award. The UMCP Breast Health Center has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.
