Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) affects millions of Americans and can lead to Barrett’s esophagus, a precursor to esophageal cancer. Join Anish A. Sheth, MD, Chief of Gastroenterology at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center and Co-Director of the Center for Digestive Health, for an overview of the signs and symptoms of GERD. Medications, lifestyle changes and advanced testing for acid reflux will also be discussed. Dr. Sheth is board certified in gastroenterology and a member of the Medical Staff of Penn Medicine Princeton Health.
