Early detection greatly increases your odds of successfully treating prostate cancer. Men 40 years of age or older should take advantage of this opportunity to be screened with prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing and a digital rectal exam (DRE). African-American men and men with a family history of prostate cancer are particularly at risk. This confidential screening will be performed by a board certified urologist from Princeton HealthCare System and is sponsored by UMCP’s Edward & Marie Matthews Center for Cancer Care.

This screening is supported by the Community Education & Outreach Program with Princeton HealthCare System.

University Medical Center of Princeton is accredited as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC) and a recipient of the CoC's Outstanding Achievement Award.
