Early detection greatly increases your odds of successfully treating prostate cancer. Men 40 - 80 years of age should take advantage of this opportunity to be screened with prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing and a digital rectal exam (DRE). African-American men and men with a family history of prostate cancer are particularly at risk. This confidential screening will be performed by a board certified urologist and health care professionals from Penn Medicine Princeton Health and is sponsored by PMC’s Edward & Marie Matthews Center for Cancer Care.

This test is offered as part of an ongoing, long-term research project. To participate, you must sign a consent form and complete a survey focused on quality-of-life issues. Your completed survey, blood test results and demographic information will be shared with researchers.

This screening is supported by Princeton Health's Community Wellness.

Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center is accredited as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC).
